Revival Animal Health recalls Breeder’s Edge, Shelter’s Choice Canine milk replacer
Revival Animal Health of Orange City, IA is recalling Breeder’s Edge® Foster Care® Canine, Shelter’s Choice® Canine Milk Replacers, and is expanding the current recall to include the Breeder’s Edge® Foster Care® GM (goat milk) products due to variable levels of Vitamin D resulting in either low or elevated levels in the milk replacers.
Consumers should stop feeding the products listed below to their dogs.
Dogs ingesting elevated levels of Vitamin D may exhibit symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, weakness, lethargy, reduced growth, and weight loss. Vitamin D when consumed at very high levels can lead to calcification of soft tissues, such as the kidney. Puppies ingesting low levels of Vitamin D over several weeks may develop lethargy, weakness, bone deformities, painful, swollen joints and lameness due to weakened or malformed bones (rickets). Consumers who have dogs that have consumed any of the affected products and are exhibiting these symptoms should contact their veterinarian.

Bear Stewart LLC of Chicago, IL is voluntarily recalling a single lot of Bakr Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk Ready To Bake Cookie Dough pouches because it may contain undeclared soy. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled Bakr Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk Ready To Bake Cookie Dough was distributed in Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona, and Utah through Target retail stores starting on June 11, 2026.
The Bakr Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk Ready To Bake Cookie Dough comes in an 8-ounce blue package and is sold in the frozen section. The recalled product can be identified by lot number 2606022, which can be found on the bottom left corner on the rear side of the pouch.
No illnesses have been reported to date.

La Ceiba Foods Latin Market Inc. Recalls Cottage Cheese Products Because of Possible Health Risk
June 26, 2026, – La Ceiba Foods Latin Market Inc. is conducting a recall of Requesón Salvadoreño (Salvadoran Cottage Cheese) and Requesón Mexicano (Mexican Cottage Cheese) products marketed under the La Colonia and Selectos Latinos brands, due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, older adults, pregnant women, and people with weakened immune systems. Healthy people may have short-lived symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can also lead to miscarriages and stillbirth in pregnant women.
The affected products were distributed to supermarkets, retail stores and restaurants in the states of Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Lehi Valley Trading Company Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Peanuts in Chocolate Covered Raisins
June 25, 2026, Lehi Valley Trading Company of Mesa, AZ, is recalling 624 units of its 15 ounce packages of High Valley Orchard Chocolate Covered Raisins because they contain undeclared peanuts. People who have allergies to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The recalled Chocolate Covered Raisins were distributed in retail stores through Albertson’s distribution center between 5/18/2026 and 6/25/2026.
The product comes in a 15 ounce, clear plastic package marked with lot # 0160933, best by date of Jan 23, 2027, on the bottom right-hand side of the front label.
No illnesses or deaths have been reported to date in connection with this problem to date.
Total Nutrition Inc. recalls TNVitamins 100% Organic Moringa Capsules and Powder
Total Nutrition Inc. of Deer Park, NY is voluntarily recalling TNVitamins 100% Organic Moringa 1,200 mg Capsules and 100% Organic Moringa Powder following a supplier-initiated recall of the raw Organic Moringa ingredient because of possible Salmonella exposure. No illnesses have been reported to date.
Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis.
