Anthony Trinh, 123Herbals LLC recalls Silintan Dietary supplement capsules marketed for relief of joint and body aches
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Date 01/07/2026 – Rosemead, CA, ANTHONY TRINH, 123herbals LLC is voluntarily recalling all lots of Silintan capsules to the consumer level. FDA analysis has found the product to be tainted with meloxicam. Meloxicam, is an approved Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug, (NSAID) indicated for management of osteoarthritis pain. Products containing meloxicam cannot be marketed as dietary supplements. The presence of Meloxicam in Silintan capsules, renders it an unapproved new drug for which the safety and efficacy have not been established and, therefore, subject to recall.
Risk Statement: Exposure to meloxicam at doses exceeding the recommended maximum daily dose of 15mg/day, may result in a reasonable probability of serious life-threatening events such as blood clots, heart attack, and stroke. Patients also face risks of hypersensitivity reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration, and perforation, as well as acute kidney injury, particularly in elderly. Dangerous drug-drug interactions may occur in patients on blood thinners or other NSAIDs, significantly increasing bleeding risk. To date, Anthony Trinh, 123Herbals LLC has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall.
The tainted Silintan is marketed as a dietary supplement for relief of joint and body aches and is packaged in 25-count plastic bottles with blue labels (see labels below). The affected Silintan capsules include all lot numbers within expiry. Silintan capsules were distributed nationwide online at 123herbals.com
Modern Warrior recalls Modern Warrior Dietary supplement capsules marketed for metabolism moosting, improving brain function, and reducing cravings
[Phoenix, Arizona] – [12/22/25] – Modern Warrior is voluntarily recalling all lots of Modern Warrior Ready, a dietary supplement sold directly to consumers, after regulatory testing identified the presence of undeclared ingredients, including tianeptine, 1,4-DMAA, and aniracetam.
Tianeptine can cause life-threatening events including suicidal ideation or behavior in children, adolescents, and adults aged 25 years and younger. In addition, overdose carriesserious and potentially life-threatening risks including confusion, seizures, drowsiness, dry mouth, and shortness of breath, which can be exacerbated by alcohol use. Using tianeptine in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOl) antidepressants could lead to life-threatening complications including stroke and death.
Use of 1,4-DMAA can elevate blood pressure and could lead to cardiovascular problems, including heart attack, shortness of breath and tightening of the chest. Products containing synephrine are reported to potentially result in cardiovascular effects, including increasedheart rate and blood pressure, especially in the presence of caffeine.
The recalled product was distributed to customers nationwide from April of 2022 until December 8th of 2025. The recalled product was available for purchase online.

HARTFORD — The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Food and Standards Division is warning the public that Carrot Top Country Kitchens LLC, DBA Carrot Top Kitchens of Bridgeport (formerly Redding), is recalling 5 varieties of hummus due to undeclared sesame.
Customers who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame are vulnerable to serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if affected products are consumed.
Hummus varieties included in the recall are:
- Lemon Garlic Hummus
- Lime Ginger Hummus
- White Truffle Hummus
- Sundried Tomato and Caper Hummus
- Cherry Pepper Hummus
The affected hummus varieties can be identified through the labeled flavor displayed on the plastic container, weighing 8oz (226g).
Diva Fam Inc. recalls True Sea Moss Sea Moss Gel Superfood in various flavors (16 FL OZ glass jars)
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9, 2026 - Diva Fam Inc. ("Diva Fam" or the "Company") today (January 9, 2026) announced a voluntary recall of all lots and flavors of Sea Moss Gel Superfood due to lack of required regulatory authorization and temperature monitoring records for pH-controlled food products.
PH-controlled food products that are not manufactured in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements may present a potential risk of microbial growth, including organisms that can produce toxins associated with botulism. Botulism is a rare but serious illness that can affect the nervous system. Symptoms may include general weakness, dizziness, double vision, difficulty speaking or swallowing, and, in severe cases, difficulty breathing or muscle weakness.
No illnesses or adverse health events have been reported in connection with the products subject to this recall to date.

Gusto Group Inc. of Paterson, NJ is recalling [Klong Kone] Shrimp Paste (Klong Kone) '454 G. (1 LBS)' and ‘910 G. (2 LBS)’ because it has the potential to be contaminated with elevated levels of lead.
Short term exposures to very low levels of lead may not elicit any symptoms. It is possible that increased blood lead levels may be the only apparent sign of lead exposure. Additional signs and symptoms of lead exposure are more likely with acute exposure to higher levels of lead or chronic exposure to lead. While lead can affect nearly every bodily system, its effects depend upon the amount and duration of lead exposure and age/ body weight. If a child is exposed to enough lead for a protracted period of time (e.g., weeks to months) permanent damage to the central nervous system may occur. This can result in learning disorders, developmental defects, and other long-term health problems. For adults, chronic lead exposure is associated with kidney dysfunction, hypertension, and neurocognitive effects.
The recalled product was directly distributed to the two retailers listed below, located IA and NJ , between April 2023 to December 2023 There were no online sales.

People who have a wheat allergy run a risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume product with wheat.
The products were distributed nationwide via mail order.

Newway Import Inc. recalls Newway Import Preserved mustard in soybean oil
Newway Import Inc., located in La Puente, CA 91744, is recalling “Preserved Mustard in Soybean Oil” (Brand: Cai Hua Xiang) because the product may contain undeclared wheat.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to with a wheat run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. The recalled product was distributed in California available for sale in retail grocery stores between early July 2025 and early November 2025.
The recalled product is Cai Hua Xiang brand preserved mustard in soybean oil. The recalled product is packaged in (describe packaging) and lot code, 505202008 and Best By date May- 20-2026 can be found on the package (describe the location of the codes).
No illnesses have been reported to date.
Primavera Nueva Inc. recalls Primavera Tamales
Sonoma, CA — Primavera Nueva Inc. is voluntarily recalling certain lots of its 4-count tamales because the products have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
Product was distributed by Primavera Nueva Inc. in California and Nevada to retail stores.
The following 4-count tamales, produced between October 10, 2024 and October 10, 2025 are included:

Raleigh, North Carolina (January 12, 2026) — Spring & Mulberry is voluntarily recalling lot #025255 of its Mint Leaf Date Sweetened Chocolate Bar (2.1 oz) due to possible contamination with Salmonella.
Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly individuals, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals infected with Salmonella may experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare cases, infection can result in the organism entering the bloodstream and causing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis. Individuals experiencing these symptoms should seek medical attention immediately.
